DUO TÁGIDE
Inês Simões and pianist Daniel Godinho met as young students at the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra in Lisbon, where they discovered a mutual love for the lyric song genre.
With two decades of collaboration, Duo Tágide has an impressive body of work encompassing repertoire from the baroque to the modern eras, in an array of languages from the traditional German to Finnish and Portuguese. Their bold programming encompasses works from both past and present as well as a dedicated place for Portuguese songs.

It is Duo Tágide's vision that a recital should engage an audience by presenting works that will bounce off each other and therefore touch the audience by means of imagination and creativity.
In our programs, we aim to combine and play with pieces from three main themes:
